Building Design Partnership has appointed Gavin Elliott chairman of its Manchester studio.

Rider Levett Bucknall has appointed Andy Mossop QS in its Manchester office, Suzanne Culpitt senior QS in its Wokingham office and Grahame Howes senior project manager in its Welwyn office.

Amey has promoted Gillian Duggan from group human resources director to managing director for the built environment. She replaces Guy Wakeley, who becomes chief executive of Morrison Facilities Services at Anglian Water Group.
