Architect Transform has unveiled proposals for a new “city wall” in the Chinese city of Xian.

The scheme will include a 14km-long band of houses, parks and squares with transport links, including a light railway, for the town, which is home to the Terracotta Warriors.

The idea is one of four large scale proposals for sustainable urban development in China currently on display at the Co-evolution exhibition in Southwark, London
