Stuart Siddall will leave his post at the end of May
Amec finance director Stuart Siddall, 54, has resigned and will leave at the end of May.
Siddall was appointed finance director in June 2000 after holding similar positions at Alpha Airports Group and Manweb.
He helped oversee the sale of Amec’s built environment divisions and PFI portfolio to Land Securities in a £163.5m cash deal last year.
He will step down at Amec’s annual general meeting on 14 May.
In a statement the company said: "Following the sale of Spie in 2006, the successful transformation of Amec and sale of its non-core UK construction activities during 2007 and the delivery of record results, Stuart leaves with Amec well positioned for an exciting future and with prospects which have never been stronger.”
Last week Amec reported record annual profits.
