Construction company bags series of contract wins, including two facilities management jobs with Royal Bank of Scotland worth a total of £65m
Construction group Alfred McAlpine has announced a series of contract wins worth over £130m, including a three-year facilities management contract with the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Alfred McAlpine has been awarded two infrastructure services support contracts worth in excess of £50m. The first is an extension of its strategic highways partnership contract with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council for a further four years. The second win is a two-year contract with Fulcrum Connections for gas connections work in the north of England and Scotland.
The construction company has also secured two facilities management contracts worth a combined total of £65m. The largest of these is a three-year facilities management contract with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
Under deal Alfred McAlpine will provide facilities management services across RBS Group's large office properties and its 643 branch network across the South-east of England.
Alfred McAlpine has also secured a contract to build a leisure centre in Stafford and a contract with Derbyshire County Council to build a linkroad to the north of Ilkeston for the A6096 to Awsworth. The value of these contracts is about £15m.
Ian Grice, Alfred McAlpine group chief executive, said: “Our markets remain strong and we continue to benefit from a good pipeline of opportunities. These wins again demonstrate our ability to build lasting relationships with established clients, based on the quality of our service delivery, and to continue to win new business which delivers long term visible earnings.”
