Architect appointed to 400,000 sq ft PRUPIM project
Aukett Fitzroy Robinson has been appointed to design the landmark next phase of property investor PRUPIM’s Reading Central scheme.
AFR will design a 400,000 sq ft pair of office buildings to replace the existing Energis House (pictured) in the city centre location.
AFR was appointed by development manager Bell Hammer.
Luke Schuberth, UK managing director at AFR, who will head up the project, said: “This new phase of Reading Central is regarded by many as the most important new build HQ in the area and we are delighted to be working with Bell Hammer and PRUPIM to design a scheme of the highest quality.
“Reading Central will be a highly desirable office location and we look forward to developing our proposals with the project team.”
The architect is also working with PRUPIM on the refurbishment of 30 Berkeley Square in London, which received planning consent in January.
