Entertainment firm on the look out for contractor for £65m hotel project next to O2 arena
Entertainment firm AEG is seeking a contractor to build a £65m 450-bed hotel next to its O2 arena in Greenwich, London.
Industry sources said the client was speaking to contractors ahead of issuing a tender.
AEG was spurred into action by a £500m investment last month by Hong Kong investor Knight Dragon in the wider Greenwich Peninsula scheme, which it will jointly develop with Quintain Estates.
The Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands-designed hotel won planning approval in 2010.
