Consultant announces series of major appointments
Aecom and Davis Langdon have announced a series of top appointments in Europe, including a new head of transport for the region.
The former managing director of rail operator Heathrow Express, Richard Robinson, has been appointed managing director of Aecom’s transport business in Europe.
John Newell has left Atkins to head up Aecom’s business development in the Middle East and Europe.
He follows former RLB head of Europe Mike Staples in leaving a senior role at a rival consultant to join Aecom this year.
Tony Wall, previously of More London Development and Mace, has established Aecom’s first construction services office in Europe.
Davis Langdon has also promoted two employees to senior positions within its sport team – Alan Willby has been promoted from the London 2012 Olympic delivery team to become global head of sport at Davis Langdon, while Paul Davis becomes European head of sport and leisure.
Axel Praus has also been appointed country manager for Germany, while Nesilhan Aybar becomes head of Turkey.
Keith Hampson and Alan Crafton have also joined Aecom’s European transport business as directors.
