Central London office wins a SKA gold rating for environmental performance
Aecom has released images of its new highly-sustainable central London headquarters in Aldgate Tower.
The UK’s largest consultant has moved more than 1,000 staff from across the capital into Aldgate Tower.
The project was developed in-house by an Aecom team of designers, workplace strategists, building engineers, cost managers, IT and facilities management specialists.
It has achieved a SKA gold rating for its environmental, health and wellbeing performance.
Patrick Flaherty, chief executive for UK and Ireland at Aecom, said: “When we embarked on the design for our Aldgate Tower office we wanted to create a great place to work that would lead the industry.
“By achieving SKA Gold it is clear we can use our workspace to inspire clients and show them how it’s possible to fit-out office space whilst limiting impact on the environment.”
