Cities head goes at end of year
Aecom’s cities programme leader Andrew Jones is leaving the business at the end of the year after more than two decades at the firm.
Jones (pictured) has stepped down from the board ahead of his departure which will mark the end of 23 years at the consultant.
An Aecom spokesperson said: “After 23 years, he will be leaving the company at the end of December to take up new opportunities in 2023. We want to thank him for his huge contribution to Aecom and wish him every success going forward.”
Last month, Aecom announced the Westminster council official who oversaw the controversial Marble Arch Mound project was joining the business.
Elad Eisenstein hit the headlines earlier this year after it was revealed he was earning more than the local authority’s chief executive.
Aecom said Eisenstein had joined the firm in a newly created role of director of city masterplanning and urban design.
