Professional body asks for donations of time or money to help aid organisation RedR assess needs of country after earthquake

In the wake of the earthquake that has hit Haiti, the Association for Consultancy and Engineering has asked its members to support aid organisation RedR’s Haiti appeal by donating time or money.

RedR urgently needs £20,000 to pay for a team to fly out and undertake a full needs assessment of the training requirements of aid agencies responding to the crisis. It will then support the agencies over the coming months.

International humanitarian agency GOAL is also seeking civil engineers, logisticians, and accountants, with experience of third world conditions, for their relief and rehabilitation programmes in Haiti.
