Sarah Richardson is appointed the magazine’s 18th editor, while Thomas Lane takes on the role of group technical editor
Sarah Richardson has been appointed editor of Building, after almost eight years working on the magazine and website. She becomes the 18th editor in Building’s 169-year history.
Sarah’s promotion is part of a restructure of the content team to drive synergy between Building and the newly acquired Ecobuild event.
In addition, Thomas Lane has been promoted to the position of group technical editor (Building and Ecobuild).
Thomas has been running Building’s projects and technical sections for over 11 years. He will continue to oversee technical coverage but will also oversee the development of the 1,400 people strong Ecobuild speaker programme .
