Wilkinson Eyre has won a design competition for the “Peace Bridge” in Derry, Northern Ireland

The £13.3m footbridge, to be built by regeneration company Ilex URC, is the third to cross the River Foyle. Contractor Graham will build the bridge with support from structural engineer Faber Maunsell. Work on site will start in September, with completion due in October 2010.
