Firm promotes UK environment MD Mike Carroll
Mike Carroll has been appointed as the new chief executive of Arcadis in the UK.
Carroll was previously managing director of environment of the firm. He has also worked for the firm in the US as president of the infrastructure division. His work included work on flood and hurricane protection scheme for New Orleans which were part of the largest civils contract ever awarded by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Arcadis chief executive, Harrie Noy, said: “We are pleased that Mike Carroll has accepted this important leadership role. With extensive international experience, and over 30 years in the engineering and environmental sectors, Mike brings a wealth of expertise to the business.
“We are confident that this appointment will drive performance, help us deliver our ambitious growth targets, and further strengthen our position in the European market.”
