Wagner, the independent hardware distributor, added air conditioning units to its range last summer and is delighted to report some real successes with its latest Airmaster product.

Gary Gleeson, Technical & Marketing Manager, said: ‘We have a number of customers who have offered an Airmaster as a free upgrade to prospective conservatory customers. The uptake has been amazing, particularly with one company which ran a promotion in May and sold more than treble the amount of conservatories that had been forecast!’

Airmaster is a 12000BTU wall-mounted unit that requires no specialist skills or equipment to install.

The product cools, heats and dehumidifies and is operated by a simple remote control.

Gary sums up; ‘Air-con at home is still seen by the public as a luxury item and, as such, can be used as a surprisingly cost-effective deal closer by the clever conservatory salesman.’
