New World Developments has invested in several new additions to its transport fleet.

Specially designed to carry Apeer and Monno composite doorsets across the UK and Ireland, secure transport is a vital part of this dynamic and growing company’s distribution strategy.

Carrying three times the weight of a van, the most expensive addition is a new 18 tonne, rigid-side lorry which has incorporated many secure features and fixings to ensure complete stability on today’s crowded roads. These fixings were specified to design ideas from the New World team who knew exactly what was required. Doorsets and panels need to be carried upright and so the lorry was sectioned off internally with bars and ties into different configurations to cope with various door and panel sizes.

In addition to the new ‘king of the road’, New World has four 6.5 tonne Iveco vans, two 6 tonne Mercedes Sprinters and 6 Mercedes Sprinters.
