Door panel and composite door manufacturer Rocal has embarked upon its next stage of expansion.
Due to continued success in both panels and solid core ‘Endurance’ doors, the North Lincolnshire business has commenced construction of a further 2,000 square metre production unit.
Jim Longley, Rocal’s Managing Director, believes ‘the foundation of our continued success is based upon the three key elements of service, flexibility and innovation.
‘All panels are delivered within three working days from receipt of order, and arrive safe and sound, the majority delivered on our own transport network. We made the decision to expand our fleet and be less reliant on contract hauliers, we felt our customers deserved better than the uncertainty of carrier damage and lost deliveries.
‘Rocal’s secret weapon is our in house glass design studio. ‘without this we would not be so flexible. Our team of experienced glass technicians can basically copy any glass design that our customers throw at them, and still keep within our three day lead time.’
In summer 2003 Rocal launched the Endurance range of solid core composite doors. ‘The interest has been incredible’, says Jim. After years of development and investment Rocal believe they have designed a composite door set that meets the demands of the retail market sector. ‘We can deliver a solid core high security door set, manufactured in a Rehau 70mm outer frame within 10 days.
‘Rocal’s door uses the latest in door skin technology. We offer a door with high thermal stability that is through-colour and requires no painting.’
The Endurance door consists of a solid core leaf manufactured from Kerto, a resin bonded laminated lumber slab. The door has been successfully tested to PAS 23/24 certification.
