Architectural aluminium specialist, Technal, part of Hydro Building Systems, has launched a new structurally glazed façade system, MX SSG.

MX SSG uses the same grid system as the new MX curtain walling suite, simplifying specification and improving the quality of fabrication and installation, cost efficiency.

The system has been developed to provide specifiers with more choice and design flexibility to meet the demands of modern architecture, and create striking, flush glass façades. The new system aims to meet architects’ requirements for less visible aluminium by using structural silicone bonding.

MX SSG, which complements MX visible grid and MX Trame curtain walling, offers additional aesthetic variety for the building envelope from a single integrated grid system, with the reassurance of thermal performance and weatherproofing.
