RegaLead, a major supplier in Europe of creative options for decorative glass, has recently launched several new lead profiles in new colour options and a wider choice of widths.

New colours include Satin Platinum, Copper, Titanium and White which are ideal for furniture and interior applications, and new widths vary from the extremely fine 2mm ‘kiss-cut’ to the 18mm profiles for traditional leading.

The company is affected by the continuing and sustained rise in the cost of lead on the London Metal Exchange. Metal costs have now risen by almost 50 per cent since February 2006, to an all time record level of £926 per tonne in November. The inevitable price rises for all lead based products will follow, which will affect both self adhesive profiles as well as solder marketed by RegaLead.

More details of the latest lead profiles and further additions in the Films and Bevels ranges are available in the brochure launched at Glasstec in October ‘New Products 2007’, which is available from the sales office on 0161 946 1164.
