New chair at the ODA

Last month the Olympic Delivery Authority appointed John Armitt as its new chair. Armitt’s cv includes a 27-year stint with John Laing and chief executive roles at Costain and more recently, Network Rail. He will work 3.5 days a week and replaces acting chair Roy McNulty, who stepped up to the position from deputy on a temporary basis after Jack Lemley left last October.
