Veka have been celebrating the success of their customers and members recently. In fact, they have even welcomed some old members back into the fold after they had previously left the network.
Piper and WKHA
The first thing to celebrate was the signing of a 10 year partnering agreement between Veka fabricator, Piper Windows and West Kent Housing Association.
Piper was awarded the contract due to the high quality and long term performance of its products and its proven reputation for excellent customer service and support, particularly in the public sector.
The company will be charged with the replacement of first generation windows with new, high-performance Veka PVC-U frames and providing windows for new build properties.
Gemini Open Day
Meanwhile, Oldham-based trade fabricator Gemini UPVC Ltd recently celebrated two important milestones at its Open Day event on 22nd July: 20 years in business, and one year since the company opted to switch to Veka’s Matrix 70mm fully sculptured system, a decision that has helped increase the company’s weekly window output from 200 to 300 within that period. A new Stuga Eco-Line CNC prepping centre has helped boost manufacturing capacity, whilst a new Business Micros Evolution package has synchronised order processing, production and delivery.
Trio return to Veka
More good news sees the return of three former Network Veka members among its latest intake of recruits. The companies had left the organisation voluntarily to try going it alone but have now come back to enjoy the benefits of group trading.
Weathermaster of Whitehaven, Cumbria, CIS, with premises in Carlisle and Dumfries, and Aurora Window Manufacturers of Glasgow have all has their readmission approved and at least one other company is in talks with the organisation.
Network Veka Managing Director John Ogilvie said: ‘We are delighted to be welcoming these old friends back into our ranks. ‘Their return shows that life is getting tougher for those companies going it alone while the security of group membership is becoming ever more relevant to any business’.
