German IT firm develops new ‘tachometer’ feature

IT solutions company Nemetschek has added a new quantity surveying module to its Allplan CAD programme.

The 2006 Generation of Allplan now includes a “tachometer for quantities and costs”.

This allows the user to display current construction costs at any time during the planning stage. The information is then displayed and analysed in a graphical format.

The company also claims its 2006 Generation quantity takeoff software Allright, is now able to connect to any e-tendering programme available on the market.

For architects, the company has added a façade modeller to allow users to change and modify building facades, again at any stage.
