Urban regeneration division Muse appointed by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council
Morgan Sindall has been appointed as the partner on a £200m regeneration scheme in Basingstoke.
The scheme will see the development of over 700,000ft² of land owned by Basingstoke and Deane Borough council at Basing View by Morgan Sindall’s urban regeneration division Muse Developments. It will include office space, sporting facilities and a business class hotel and has been designed by 3D Reid.
In addition the council is investing £3.3m in infrastructure at the site and has a £5m investment fund to develop new business in the area.
Mike Auger, regional director for Muse, said: “We are delighted to have been given this opportunity to work alongside Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to regenerate Basing View and welcome the strong contribution from the council which will no doubt assist in its delivery.”
Work on the scheme is due to start in late 2013, subject to planning permission.
