I write in my capacity as programme director of the BSc Hons programme – Architectural Engineering and Design Management – a successful and popular CIOB-validated degree programme in its 10th year. So far about 100 students have graduated from the course and are working in construction, mainly as design managers

We were disappointed, therefore, to read the article ‘Recalibrate your career’ (CM, March). It is simply not correct to say that Northumbria University offers the ‘only’ design management course.
