Honeywell Security’s award winning Galaxy control panel has been chosen for installation in the 21st century house featured in Channel 4’s Grand Designs programme on housebuilding.
The security system for the ultra modern house, Cloud 8, was designed by Secom Plc and installation will be completed later this year. Secom specified the Galaxy 60 control panel with keypad ‘for functionality and aesthetics’, and it will be recessed into a wall and fitted with a chrome cover for a flush mount finish.
The security system at Cloud 8 has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the sophisticated and highly technical building intelligence system that ‘knows’ when the owners are at home and controls the temperature, lighting and security levels accordingly.
