HI SEC UK has launched a mobile CCTV device designed to capture event-driven digital video footage of activity in rural, remote and un-manned locations, such as fields, railway lines and building sites.
The MCCTV is the brainchild of HI SEC UK managing director Peter Goodenough, who believes the stand-alone device will be useful in monitoring and potentially enforcing criminal activities, such as the recent fox hunting ban.
The robust, weatherproof unit incorporates a day/night CCTV camera which automatically triggers event recording within 40m when activity is detected, saving it to the unit’s 20Gb, six partition DVR hard drive.
Images are reviewed through a PC using either Internet Explorer or the software provided.Specifications of the MCCTV unit can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
