MK has joined a group of key companies across Europe and North America to form the EnOcean Alliance, which aims to enable intelligent green buildings to be built, based on ‘energy-harvesting’ wireless technology.

Other founding promoters of the alliance include EnOcean, Distech, Thermokon and Honeywell Business.

Additional member companies are joining from more than 70 product partners that are currently deploying EnOcean-enabled products.

The main premise of the alliance is to address the demand for a wireless eco-system that combines a broad range of interoperable and flexible monitoring and control products.
