The new twin-site campus of Jewel and Esk College has been unveiled.
KJ Tait was engineering services consultant, with RMJM as architect and lead consultant. The brief was to refurbish and modernise the Milton Road Campus in Edinburgh and to completely rebuild the Eskbank Campus in Midlothian with new state-of-the-art teaching facilities and trades pavilion. Around 275,000m of power and data cabling has been used between the two new campuses, and 8500m of water and heating pipes have been installed. There will be a total of 885 rooms across the two new buildings, which will cater for the 7000 students and 360 employees, which open on November 17.
