Cablofil (UK) has won the contract to supply the principal containment and protection system for the redevelopment of the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital NHS Trust.
Over 3500 m of cable tray has been installed during the £18 million hospital redevelopment. This will carry the cabling supplying data communications and electrical services throughout the new wing, wards and diagnostic treatment centre. Cablofil wire mesh cable tray has been installed in the ceiling voids, underfloor and in plantrooms to contain low voltage distribution wiring.
Costain was main contractor, the m&e contractor was Haden Young, who specified the products through Edmundson.
