McBains Cooper and Sanctuary Housing in scheme to refurbish 2,600 homes in Sheffield

Sanctuary Housing has appointed McBains Cooper for a new scheme to refurbish 2,600 homes to the Decent Homes plus standard in the Shiregreen area of Northern Sheffield. The £90m project is expected to span five years.

McBains Cooper will be providing project management, building surveying, cost management and mechanical, electrical and structural engineering to the scheme.

The selected contractor is Keep Moat. Work will start on site next month and is expected to be completed by 2010.
