German contractor Bilfinger Berger has promoted Martin Pugh to head its UK and Ireland concessions/PPP business as part of a management shake-up. Pugh succeeds Nick Dawson as managing director of the business, which is called BOT.

Dawson in turn has been promoted to the three-man executive management of the worldwide concessions business, replacing Ken Reid who has joined the executive board at group level in Germany.

Cheshire construction group Pochin has appointed Richard Fildes as its new chairman. The contractor’s first non-executive chairman, Fildes took over from John Woodcock who had been with the firm for 40 years.


Housebuilder

Housebuilder Taylor Woodrow has appointed John Landrum as president of its North American operations to be based in the Florida office. Landrum joins the company from the Related Group where he was executive vice president and chief operating officer. He has held similar operational and financial positions for almost 30 years with housing and commercial mixed-use development companies in a number of US states.
