The ECA has published a comprehensive, user-friendly book to enable the industry to meet the requirements of the 17th Edition.

Simply laid out using clear tables and diagrams, the Guide to the Wiring Regulations BS7671: 2008 addresses all areas of the new requirements in straightforward terms.

David Pollock, ECA chief executive officer, said: “We canvassed our members and, owing to enormous demand, produced this book with the specific aim of helping industry professionals comply with the new regulations.

“Written by the ECA’s own experts, who were instrumental in the development of the revised regulations, this is an authoritative and accessible guide that illustrates the changes and provides real solutions to the problems that can often occur with practical interpretation.”

The ECA is offering the guide and a complete copy of BS7671: 2008 to all existing and new members free of charge. It also begins a series of presentations on the 17th Edition to members and non-members across the country from the end of March.
