Manrose has launched a new low voltage fan with an integral humidity sensor.

The XF100HLV is powered by a standard transformer which can be wired up to eight metres away in the loft space or outside the room. This makes it ideal for use in splash areas.

Designed for use in bathrooms and toilets, the unit incorporates a humidity control that can be adjusted between 40% and 95% RH and an adjustable timer that will programme the fan to run on for 1-20 minutes.

The 100 mm unit has an extract rate of 85m3/hr or 23 litres per second. Power is provided by a single phase induction motor with pre-oiled bearings which, according to Manrose, makes for a long, maintenance-free life.
