Greenberg invests to target designers
Targeting designers and shopfitters, Greenberg Glass has recently invested in a Bavelloni Alpac A9 CNC machinery to enable flat glass to be precision cut into intricate shapes with special finish.
The CNC machinery can provide the following results: Polished and arrissed edges on all thicknesses of glass; Internal cut-outs to any shape including letter plates and holes; Internal holes polished to a minimum 20mm radius corner, minimum unpolished corner radius is 9-10mm; Bevelled edges to a maximum of 29mm; Shaped bevelling; Corner cut-outs for toughened glass patch fittings; Sawing facilities for all multi-ply laminated glass; Shaped and straight brilliant cutting to incorporate personalised designs or logos; Templates can be scanned, reproduced and stored for use at a later date; Surface engraving to produce lettering; Ogee edge available on 15mm glass. Applications include: Counter/table tops; Toughened glass assemblies; Glass fins; Specialist glass in offices and shops; Specialist kitchen unit glass; Balustrade panels; Cabinets and display units.
In addition to cutting shapes, glass and mirrors are bevelled, etched and brilliant cut producing an exceptionally high quality finish for countertops, tabletops, display cases and balustrades. These items are suitable for the glazing, shopfitting and furniture sectors.
