Firm wins further work on Reading scheme
Mace has won four contracts on the £45m first phase of the £250m Chatham Place development in Reading.
Client Amec Developments has appointed Mace principal contractor for enablement, infrastructure and public realm, and the firm will also provide security and logistics management for the site. The project is headed by Amec and Reading Borough Council.
Mace has worked on Chatham Place for the last year as construction advisor, with building work starting onsite earlier this month. The project team also includes cost consultant Faithful & Gould, highway consultant Peter Brett Associates and architect Cartwright Pickard Associates.
