Looking good: This social housing development in White City, London, has won an award from Britain's design champion – the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment – and its French counterpart.
The 78-home development for Octavia Housing and Care, designed by Cartwright Pickard Architects in partnership with French practice B&C Delloye Architectes, won a prize for outstanding architecture last month.
Work is to start on site in autumn and finish in 2006.
