Logic Certification has launched a solar photovoltaics (PV) course for experienced electricians
Logic Certification’s new, two-day solar photovoltaic course covers the necessary skills to install and service solar PV systems, as well as providing installers with information regarding the renewables marketplace and routes to funding and certification, such as the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
With funding available through schemes such as the Low Carbon Building Programme and planning permission requirements lifted for most PV installations since April 2008, the demand for qualified installers is increasing.
Mark Krull, marketing director for Logic Certification, said: “This addition to Logic Certification’s range of renewable courses continues our commitment to providing installers with the training provision necessary to stay competitive in their marketplace. All building services systems must be installed according to the Building Regulations and the best and most cost-effective way to get this knowledge is through training - installers who upgrade to include renewable technology skills become the preferred option to environmentally-minded customers.”
In addition to Solar PV, Logic Certification’s range of renewable courses includes Ground and Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal Hot Water. There are more than 100 Logic Certification centres throughout the UK - to find your nearest, visit www.logic-cert.com.
