The Indian Chapter of the Asian Professional Security Association, the leading association of security practitioners in the Asian region, has lent its support to IFSEC India 2007.

APSA, with members drawn from nine major countries, is the largest Asian organisation for professionals responsible for security, including managers and security directors. In addition, corporate executives and other management personnel, as well as consultants, architects, attorneys and law enforcement personnel, are becoming involved in APSA.

APSA president Singh Jagdeva said: "The security market is growing exponentially in the South Asian region. By launching this event in India, we will have an opportunity to bring together end users, suppliers and manufacturers of security equipment in a way that has never before happened in the South Asian region."

IFSEC India event director James Blue said: "The success of IFSEC is built upon partnerships with leading industry associations and trade bodies. We will be working closely with APSA to ensure that IFSEC India accurately reflects the current needs of the Southern Asian market and are thrilled to have their full support in this new and exciting venture."

IFSEC India 2007 will be co-located with Internal security, and both take place at Pragati Maidan from 25-27 October 2007.
