Spie Matthew Hall has chosen the LightMaster modular control system from Philips to illuminate the stunning redevelopment of London’s St Pancras Station.

The new terminal for Eurostar forms an ambitious project as one of the UK’s largest enclosed spaces.

The system links together lighting in the core operating centres of the station, and is also able to integrate the multitude of different lamps and lighting fixtures.

LightMaster operates in a variety of areas throughout the station, including the ticket hall, baggage area, business premier lounge and the Circle retail shopping complex.

Thirty luminaires highlight the architecture of the business premier lounge, including a custom-made chandelier, and layered lighting aims to create a subtle ambience.

Presence detection has been introduced into the baggage hall area.

DMX-controlled LEDs illuminate the ticket and welcome desk areas.
