Celebrations for the 200th anniversary of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's birth hit a high with the spectacular relighting of the Clifton Suspension Bridge on the Avon Gorge.

3000 LEDs on the bridge's suspension chains, fluorescent tubes beneath the handrails and lamps concealed within the towers are controlled by Ex-Or's SceneSelect II system to produce dramatic effects. MJN Colston of Bristol installed the new lighting.
