Lenel Systems International is currently engaged in the deployment of an advanced, technology-based security management system for one of the world’s largest-ever prison construction projects.
Phase I of the $625 million Changi Prison Complex project in Singapore involves consolidation of all the Singapore Prison Department’s existing medium and maximum security facilities – previously located throughout the island country – onto a single 47.9-hectare site. The new complex will house a total of 20 institutions and as many as 23,000 inmates.
The Singapore Prison Department chose Lenel’s OnGuard for the integration of its digital video, access control and alarm monitoring functionality.
Lenel’s solution integrates access control, alarm monitoring, ID credential management, digital video and biometrics in one.
