The PFL Finesse Legend 70 window system, which was among the UK’s first pre-gasketed window systems, has now reached sales of more than 54 million metres – a weight of over 32,000 metric tonnes, and more than enough to circle the equator in PVC-U.

‘People used to believe that it was a cheap, easy process to install gaskets in windows, but this system has proved conclusively that there are huge advantages to be gained by extruding the gasket in place during manufacture,’ explains PFL Managing Director, Terry Slater.

‘Customers tell us that by removing one stage of the manufacturing process, they are easily improving their bottom line profits,’ Terry Slater adds. The pre-gasketed system also streamlines the sightline on the window light and makes the finished product more attractive for end users, he claims.
