Connexion2, manufacturer of the Identicom lone worker device, has launched the Identicom I770 with man-down detection.

The product protects workers from abuse or attack, whilst incorporating the capability for a manned monitoring centre to be alerted, either manually or automatically, in the case of injury or incapacity of the user.

The Identicom I770’s signal processing technology analyses tilt, immobility and any sudden impacts, in combination with non-response timed alerts. This, in addition to a rip alarm and discreetly operable manual call button, helps detect an employee in difficulty, and raise an alarm across the GSM phone network, whilst minimising false alarms.

The Identicom I770 with man-down is currently being sold and supported through SoloProtect, a best-of-breed service for lone workers launched this year.
