Kombimatec Machines Ltd has signed off a significant machine order for Indian PVC-U window fabricator, The Kashyap Company. The first package of machines should be despatched before the end of 2006, with tooling to manufacture Rehau Tritec 60 and S920 profile suites.

This deal follows a visit to India by Derek Parsons, Managing Director of Kombimatec Machines Ltd, earlier this year. The order was finalised during a reciprocal visit by the Kombimatec Indian representative, Deepak Chugh and Mr. Vikram Kashyap, from The Kashyap Company, to the Kombimatec facility in Luton.

Kombimatec have been exporting machinery to India for the past four years but what makes this order different is the inclusion of the EV470 CNC Corner & Transom Cleaner.

Although the market is predominantly two and three-track horizontal sliding windows there is a need for outward opening casement windows just like in the UK.

As a result they require transom welding and cleaning capacity (and reverse butt) and with the complex styles and variety of profiles the EV470 Cleaner is perfect.

The Indian market in general is booming and growth is being fuelled by tax incentives to purchase homes.
