Wheeler quits as director of up for sale group to set up new Southwest operation for listed rival

Mark Wheeler has quit as director of Knowles, which is currently up for sale, to join listed rival Driver Group. He will start up a new office in Bristol for the firm.

Wheeler, 40, a qualified barrister, headed up Knowles' non-contentious legal services division. Driver said Wheeler had considerable experience in dispute resolution as well as providing project management services to contractors and consutlants in the building services sector.

Driver chief executive Steve Driver said: "Mark has substantial experience and a well esstablished network of relationships in the area. I am confident he will make a valuable contribution to our ongoing expansion in the UK."
