Welsh and Lions rugby stars Neil Jenkins and Kevin Morgan added a bit of sparkle to the official opening of local Pontypridd Conservatory Village recently.

Local firm BWM has moved its 20-year old operation into the new site on the Treforest Industrial Estate near Pontypridd following a two-year conversion of an old paint factory. This new development had to be completely revamped before BWM could give the 50,000 sq ft site a new lease of life.

Owner Brian Moreton has personally invested nearly £1 million and, together with support from the Welsh Office Regional Selective Assistance, has created BWM’s sparkling new Conservatory Village.

The company employs 40 staff in the manufacture of windows, conservatories, guttering, fascias and soffits to a well-established trade base and a growing number of residential customers who can buy windows and conservatories direct from BWM.

Brian is on the board of directors of Welsh Cup-winning Pontypridd RFC so he called on the ‘A’ Team, his two rugby chums, to officially open the Conservatory Village. Both are satisfied BWM customers and were happy to help.
