Derwent's SuperLED infrared illuminators are being used to help capture night-time footage of endangered tigers in one of the world's most remote habitats.

A film crew from the BBC's natural history unit used Derwent's SuperLED to obtain broadcast-quality footage of tigers in the Sundarban Forest in Bangladesh.

The forest is home to 400 tigers out of a global population thought to be below 3,000.

The BBC team is making a series of documentaries about the Ganges. The project will also help local conservationists understand more about the tiger's night-time activities.
