JTL and awarding body EMTA Awards have launched two electrotechnically related units to be included within the Intermediate Certificate in Engineering and Technology (ICET).

The units are designed to give 14 to 16 year olds a taster in the building services engineering sector.

The ICET qualification provides a stand-alone equivalent to a GCSE A to C grade and gives a broad base of engineering understanding and knowledge appropriate for the industry.
