Industry training provider JTL is holding a national conference in February. The event will aim to build on the Government’s skills strategy and ensure that employers have access to the right training support and skills for businesses.

To be held at the Belfry in Warwickshire, the conference will feature keynote speakers including ECA president Tony Morgan; JTL chair Bob Harris; the Learning and Skills Council director of work-based learning Stephen Gardner; SummitSkills chair Simon Bartley; and Amicus general secretary Derek Simpson.

Issues to be addressed include government funding, working together and supply and demand, all with an emphasis on developing a strategy of successful working partnerships with the education sector.

The conference will end with an agenda for the way forward for implementation of government initiatives.
