The Glassex exhibition soon comes round again, but this year there's plenty to get excited about. Market conditions are tough but at the same time there are many regulations and standards to negiotate and make the most of.

This month finally sees an ‘A' rated double glazed window through the use of high performance low E glass. A practical solution less than a year after the first rating.

Also in this edition, look out for PVC-U windows from Masterframe and Evolution with white foil for a timber-like look, and Paragon Joinery's timber windows, foiled with PVC-U for durability. The plastics and timber camps might reach a consensus after all!
