Security managers and guarding solutions providers can now keep tabs on the movements and whereabouts of individual team members in real-time – thus ensuring the highest possible control over both team efficiency and Health and Safety issues – thanks to the launch of ITRAC, a GPRS wireless tracking solution from bconnected.

Security officers using the system simply enter their unique four-digit PIN code into the wall-mounted ITRAC keypads, thereby authenticating the identity of the individual, the location and the site. Each time the data is put into the keypad it’s uploaded via GPRS and processed instantly at the dedicated ITRAC Data Centre. Warnings can then be sent out to operatives if pre-defined activities do not take place, with data viewable in real-time on a secure customer portal.

Managers can specify exactly how and when they want to receive full audit reports (for example, on any Internet-enabled device, PC or laptop, or as a printed, faxed or e-mailed report). This system will be invaluable for those assignments where members of the Security Team are working alone, or where there are bigger teams on complex assignments.
